Cough Relief Herbal Tea Blend
Cough Relief Tea is generally safe for children over the age of 2, however please take the following into consideration:
Always strain well, especially when using Mullein as its fine hairs can irritate the throat.
Taste Test: Younger kids may prefer a milder brew - steep for only 5 - 7 minutes and add Chamomile or honey to soften the flavour.
Start with 1/2 cups, 1 - 2 times per day depending on age and symptom severity.
Use 1 - 2 tsp of the dry blend per cup of freshly boiled water.
Steep covered for 10 - 15 minutes, then strain well.
Drink warm, 2 - 4 times daily.
Add lemon if mucus is thick or sticky.
Optional: Sweeten with raw honey if desired.
